Trouble has been noted in some installations of Designer and APSW for Win '95 and Win '98 systems. It will not run on the OS as supplied by Microsoft and the latest "DCOM" update is needed. Actel has given us the following url's for the update. These updates have been tried on a '95 and '98 and they seem to work. To date, no problems have been observed on our two Win NT systems.
Addtionally, on some Win '95 and Win '98 systems, an "out of environment space" error message has been seen during Service Pack 2 installation. Hans Schmitz has provided the following notes:
There are 2 methods to try to correct the "out of environment space" message on WIN-95 and WIN-98 PC's.
Win '98
Add the following 2 lines to SYSTEM.INI file(Do NOT add the SHELL...command, since this prevents WIN98 from booting).

Edit the Config.sys: file, and add the line SHELL=C:\COMMAND.COM C:\ /e:2048 /p
