A scientific study of the problems of digital engineering for space flight systems,
with a view to their practical solution.

An Overview of the Space Radiation Environment

J. E. Mazur
Crosslink, Summer 2003

unusual compared with the weather in Earth's atmosphere.  Engineering new systems
to survive and perform in space is still a challenge after more  than 40 years of space flight.
