"An Application Engineer's View"

Mr. Elftmann is currently the Sr. Product Engineering Manager at Actel Corporation. Prior to this role he has been a Field Applications Engineer, Area Technical Manager, and World Wide Technical Manager within the Actel Sales Organization.

Prior to joining Actel, he was a Principal Hardware Design Engineer for Computer Network Technology where he led the effort to create a Verilog HDL Design flow for CPLD and FPGA device development. For the past 18 years has served in design engineering capacities for Bull Micral, Inc., Control Data Corp., ETA Systems, Inc. and FSI Corp. Mr Elftmann holds a BSEE degree from the University of Minnesota.
