September 11-13, 2001

The 4th annual Military and Aerospace Applications of Programmable Devices and Technologies International Conference will address devices, technologies, usage, reliability, fault tolerance, radiation susceptibility, and applications of programmable devices and adaptive computing systems in military and aerospace systems. The Technical_Program will consist of oral and poster technical presentations and Industrial_Exhibits.  This conference is open to US and foreign participation and is unclassified.  For conference information, please see the Programmable Technologies Web Site (http://rk.gsfc.nasa.gov) or the conference www home page at : MAPLDCon01.html

This year's Conference will include an emphasis on CPU design (both traditional processors as well as those embedded in ASICs/SoC), logic design, and device reliability.

We are planning an exciting program including outstanding invited talks.  Please see Invited Speakers for a list of talks and abstracts..

New for this  year will be Seminars and Tutorials.

Abstracts are being solicited in all aspects of the use of programmable elements, devices, and systems for military and aerospace applications. These include: PALs, FPGAs, PROMs, Programmable Substrates, FPIC, Programmable Analog Circuits, adaptive computing systems and related technologies.  Select papers will be published in the AIAA Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets.

Topics include (but are not limited to) the following:
