A scientific study of the problems of digital engineering for space flight systems,
with a view to their practical solution.

The MAPLD Conference restarted Wednesday,
September 12th and concluded Thursday, September the 13th.  We would like to thank everyone for their patience and consideration as we all, together, had a very difficult week.  Our thoughts and cares are with all whose lives have been touched by these tragedies.  Rich K., Ann D., Al. H, and Tanya V.

The 4th annual Military and Aerospace Applications of Programmable Devices and Technologies International Conference will add and emphasize logic, processor, and DSP design.  Again, devices, technologies, usage, reliability, fault tolerance, radiation susceptibility, encryption, and applications of programmable devices, processors, and adaptive computing systems in military and aerospace systems are topics for papers.. The program will consist of oral and poster technical presentations and industrial exhibits.  This conference is open to US and foreign participation and is unclassified.  For related information, please see Programmable Technologies Web Site (http://rk.gsfc.nasa.gov).
