In 1987 he received the special Grand Prix of French National Air and Space Academy (ANAE).
He has been honoured three times by the AAF (Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France) with a AAAF “Youth Prize” in 1976, a “Success Prize” in 1998 dedicated to SPOT 1 team and received the 1998 Astronautics Price in 1999.
