1971–1999	- In charge of various Projects at CNES (ARGOS, SPOT, HELIOS, Telecommunications, HERMES) - Head of Toulouse Space Center - Deputy DG of CNES
1999-2004	Senior Vice-President and Chief Technical Officer of Alcatel Space.
2004-	ESA/ESTEC Head of Establishment-Director of Technical and Quality Management

 

 

SPECIAL HONOURS

• Funding Member of the Académie des Technologies (2000), Honoured Member of the International Astronautics Federation (IAF), Member of the “Academie Nationale de l’ Air et de l’ Espace”.

• Officer of the Legion of Honour (2003) and Officer of the National Order of Merit (1991).

• In 1987 he received the special Grand Prix of French National Air and Space Academy (ANAE).

• He has been honoured three times by the AAF (Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France) with a AAAF “Youth Prize” in 1976, a “Success Prize” in 1998 dedicated to SPOT 1 team and received the 1998 Astronautics Price in 1999.
